Green Hydrogen Production Facility

Why green hydrogen?

As the world transitions from fossil fuels to new, non-carbon emitting forms of energy, global demand for hydrogen continues to grow. Countries in Asia and Europe are already signing agreements with hydrogen producing countries, including Canada which has signed more than ten such agreements with Japan, Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, and others.

Canada and the United States have hydrogen development strategies that are quickly moving ahead.  The Province of British Columbia has its own hydrogen strategy, with the goal of becoming a major hydrogen exporter in the next 5-10 years.

The video below is an introduction to how hydrogen is made and why it makes such good sense for the world’s desire to reduce carbon emissions.
